The work
The first two are real clients' sites, live on their own domains. The other four are complete demonstrations, one per trade, so you can judge the craft before you commit anything. Shown on a phone, because that's where your customers are.

The quote
Most studios want a call before they'll give you a number. I think that's backwards. If a price isn't confident enough to put in writing, something is wrong with the price, so here's the whole thing: the price, the time, what you own and the sites to judge it by.

The price
£599fixed
£200 to start, £399 when you approve it. Nothing else added afterwards unless you ask for it. No VAT, because I'm not registered for it.

The time
10–14days
From a proper brief to the site being live, as long as you're quick to reply along the way. The clock pauses while I'm waiting on content or a decision, and starts again when it arrives. If a job genuinely needs more than five pages, I'll say so before we start.

The site
Up to five pages, written from your own words and coded by hand. Built for phones first and tested on a real one. An enquiry form and click-to-call, a Google Business Profile set up properly, and the basic local search groundwork done. Two rounds of changes before it goes live.
Not included unless written into the quote: domain registration, hosting, e-commerce, professional photography and full brand design.

What you own
Your domain, your hosting, your code, in your name from day one. Leave whenever you like, for me or for anyone else, and the site keeps working exactly as it did the day before. I don't build anything that only I can maintain, so if I'm ever ill, busy, or stop doing this altogether, you lose nothing, because none of it depends on me.

After launch
Small text and photo changes are free for 30 days. After that it's £25 an hour, billed in half-hour steps, nothing rounded up, or £20 a month on the optional care plan: domain and hosting renewals handled, a monthly check, and up to an hour of small changes, cancel any time. No contract either way, and no obligation to ever come back.

When five pages isn't the job
Some businesses need more than five pages, or a site that takes bookings or payments. I build those on the same hand-coded stack, and each one is its own line on top of the £599. Jennifer Ellis Yoga is the first one in practice: a booking calendar that holds the slot, and an admin page she updates herself.

So a five-page site that takes bookings starts at £949, the £599 plus the £350. If your job doesn't need any of it, don't buy any of it. The booking system has its own page, with the three-year sum against renting one.

- What happens after I get in touch?
- I look at your business, and your current site if you have one, then reply with an honest recommendation and the real scope, before anything is agreed.
- Is £599 really the price for every project?
- For the five-page site, yes, and it's the only number you pay unless you ask for one of the add-ons in 06: booking, card payment or extra pages. Those are the only other prices on this page, each is optional, and each is quoted before anything starts. If your business needs something bigger than that, I'll say so and give you the real number before any work starts. The full arithmetic, against builders and agencies, is on its own page.
